I didn't know that there was a body and a suspension lift when I asked
the question. I don't really care which.

Just want to make the truck look taller. I don't plan on doing any off
roading other than when I jump off the freeway, cut across the grass
and hit the access road. I do 70 miles per day of freeway driving.
I get stuck in traffic a lot and that's the only time I do any
off roading.

Anyway.... I just like the look of taller trucks but I didn't buy a
4wd because figure a 2wd does better for the highway driving that I
do 95% of the time.

1). Who's JC Whitney.
2). How can I find out if they have stuff for a 97, 2wd Dak and how much $$$.
3). Does the 97 Dak have a 'unibody' type frame... and if so, will a body
lift work with that? I read that a body lift didn't work on a unibody
    type frame.
