Good advice, no doubt.
But I can still bend the bed by hand, or if I load my lawn tractor
and pull the tiedowns a little too tight. I do think the front of
my Dakota's bed is a little on the flimsy side. Funny, I never worried
about this with my '84 S-10, and I literally beat the shit out of
that bed.
Time to reach for that scrap plywood...
