I didn't order the rear sliding window on my '97 clubcab, and I don't miss
it. I can get plenty of ventilation simply by opening the door widow... I
don't even bother with the opening rear side windows .... of course, when
it gets hot, I turn on the AC.

If someone wants into your Dak, they can come through the door just as easy
as the rear window. If you're concerned, invest in an alarm system. I did
and sleep better at night.

If you have a dog, plan to buy a cap and want to talk to him, then a slider
in the cab and cap would come it handy.
