OK. OK. I've been properly chastised. But in my defense I must plead
innocent since my e-mail program was not authorized to send that subject
line by itself. As punishment I have revoked its TV privileges for a week
and reconfigured its option screen!
What I was going to say was that with all the talk about the dangers of
riding in the bed I should point out a hidden danger associated with riding
in the back of a Club Cab. I became aware of this as a result of an
incident which happened in Dallas last week. It seems that a young couple
were going home from the hospital with their newborn infant, the man and
wife riding in the front with the baby in the back of their Club Cab. The
guy stopped off at the local convince store to get a six-pack to celebrate
the new arrival. When he got back to the truck, out of habit he threw the
six-pack in the back and it landed right on top of the baby! The only thing
that kept this from being a real tragedy was the fact that it was lite beer
so the baby wasn't hurt! But for those of you with infants and Club Cabs
who drink the heavy stuff...
See, all that anticipation and it wasn't even worth it! :=)
