Hi Jon. I have sold stuff via the 'net for another mailing list to
which I belong. Out of state checks are only a problem if they
bounce. Then you might have a hard time collecting your money since
you have to involve the legal systems of both states.

As far as foreign currency, have them send US dollars inside a
greeting card. I've received cash 3 or 4 times from overseas
(europe and australia), and none of it got lost. If you get foreign
currency, it's likely to be more trouble than it's worth. If you
take it to the local airport to change it, they might have a minimum
amount that's larger than the currency...then it might as well be
worthless.

Thanks again for the list. I'm a little short now with my daughter
in college, but I'll contribute eventually.
