THROTTLE SPEED

I have a 93 CC 4x4 5 speed with the 3.9 v6. It just turned 33,000 miles
and the throttle some times appears to hang. When I shift gears the
motor rpm will not drop off for several seconds. This problem is
intermittent and I can't seem to pin point any common things like cold
temps etc. Any Ideas?
