My 97 CC has a V6 with an automatic transmission, the 3.55 gears and a limited slip diferential. It's got a bit more than 12K and gets an average of about 17.5MPG. It's around 23-24 on the highway and 14-15 in the city. The only mods are Champion Truck Plugs and an Extang soft tonneau cover. The cover was put on receintly and boosted it by about 2 MPG on the highway and about 1 overall.

In reading old postings about gas mileage, I find that members had not broken in their P/Uand I would like to know how the mileage is now that some miles are on the truck, and be able to compare 3.55 vs 3.90, auto vs 5 speed, with mods. ect. Thanx. kbshadow@msn.com
