Second reply to antilock problems

I thought of one other thing while I was out mowing. If the rear brakes
are the self-adjusting type, you need to manually adjust or "roll back"
the adjusters to make room for the added brake lining. I believe you're
supposed to measure the inside lining of the brake drum, then measure
the the adjustment of the brake shoes and work from there. My guess (a
little less complicated) would be to run the adjuster in as far as
possible, and drive in reverse (about 20 or so feet) while applying the
brakes so they can adjust themselves. I can't think of anything else,
so if none of this helps, maybe call someone who specializes in brake
systems.
