Being younger ( I am assuming that you are too), I have experienced this with
individual dealerships (my local Ford dealership as a matter of fact). I
think it is isolated to individual dealers. Sometimes they are touchy with
new vehicles. I haven't had the nuts to go up and ask my local dealer to
drive the new Durango....and they have let me drive just about anything else.
I have a feeling, though, that the Durango will drive a helluva lot like a
Dakota.......

My revenge is to stop in with the new vehicle I just bought from a neighboring
dealer and point out that they could of had my business....my local Ford
dealer has missed out on two new vehicles that I have purchased.
