Greg,
I have the 60/40 seats. I bought a console at Walmart because the center
armrest didn't have any storage capabilities. My CB is mounted on the
front of the console. The antenna cable is routed under the plastic
frame for the 4w-drive shifter and through the 4w-drive shifter boot and
then along the frame to the rear bumper where my Wilson 5/8ths wave whip
is installed at the corner of the bumper. To install the antenna, I cut
a small square in the rubber on top of the bumper, drilled the proper
diameter hole in the bumper (the only hole in the whole installation) and
hooked everything up. Works fine. When the truck needs to go to the
dealer, I only have to disconnect the power plug and antenna cable from
the CB, unbuckle the seatbelt holding the console, and the whole thing
comes out.
