You have to check the offset of the wheel to make sure you get the
proper fitment. The tire rack (www.tirerack.com) has an excellent tech
section that talks about tire sizing and wheels. I'm looking at putting
a set of 31x10.50's on my 92 4x4. The wheels need to have a smaller
positive offset than the original so the extra width of the tire doesn't
interfere with the frame. I've also lifted my truck about 2" by
adjusting the front torsion bars and adding some air lift springs to the
rear. The ride seems much better than the real soft original ride.
