If you sit a clone and a real K&N kit side by side, the only difference is
the K&N stamped in the lid. The air intake is identical. You don't have to
customize a thing! The only thing to worry about is changing that carrage
bolt for the aircleaner to bolt on. Can you see spending $40 more for a
name?

(I have a Contour also, and it heats up sitting in the driveway-with the
stock aircleaner. You would think with 20,000 miles the gauge wouldn't go
past halfway-especially with a four). The system checks out ok though.
Charles, your's may be coincidence with the heat up.
