Dynomat?

My friend just installed a sub in his Ferd Taurus. He used, instead of
Dynomat, a foam spray to dampen sound. Unfortunately, he can't remember
what the name was, and he bought it at home (a state or two away.) Has
anyone heard of this, used it, etc. What about other alternatives to
Dynomat?
