OK heres on I havent heard of on the list before. My 97 Dak has developed a
very intermittant starting anomaly ( I don't know what else to call it )
Occasionally, about 1 in 20 starts my truck/ignition wont turn over
readily. Usually I turn the key for 1 second and it fires right up but
sometimes it'll crank for 3-4 seconds with nothing. I usually let off at
this point and crank it again, then after another 2-3 seconds it catches
but just barely. It seems to sputter for 2-3 seconds and then runs like
nothing ever happened.
Go figure. Anybody got any theories on this?
Also a few months back there was talk of some Dak's on the list giving a
squeek or squeal when making a slow speed turn ( like into a driveway or
parking space ) did anyone ever get that figured out.
