     Dont put in any additives until after the motor is broken in. even
     then I would just switch to synthetics. An air cleaner and free flow
     muffler like dynomax or flowmaster will make it sound better and run
     better too. You could also change the computer, polish the throttle
     body etc etc. Just depends on how far you want to go. Joe

     Hi, I just bought a left-over 97 4X4 V6. I have a few questions.
     Should I put an oil additive in (Slick50) or nothing? What type/brand
     of oil is the best ? And what kind of performance improvements can I
     make ?
