I was reading my latest issue of Brake and Front End ( see as I'm and ASE
cert. Mechanic ) and it showed a problem with the 93 Grand Cherokee:
" Owners of 1993 Grand cherokee/Grand Wagoneer vehicles equipped with V-8
engines may complain of a drone resonance between 1,900 rpm and 2,450 rpm.
This noise is being transmitted into the body form the exhaust system.
The repair procedure involves replacing the engine and transmission mounts,
installing a reaf hanver with frame reinforcemnt, and installing an additional
hanger at the front of the exhaust system......... "
This is in the January 1998 issue of Brake and Front End,
