Hi Ned,
I just purchased mine a few weeks ago and was initially not impressed.
However, after having it installed for a while I have noticed an
increase in midrange performance, no rev limiter, no pinging on 89
octane even though it says to use 92, and a slight decrease in mpg
(heavy foot). Over all, I noticed the biggest improvement when towing
an '89 caravan from PA. The truck accellerated better than before
without really putting my foot in it. Over all, I think the $$ spent
was worth it. Now if only I had the money for the headers, cam,
throttle body, etc...

Discalimer:
ALL measurements taken utilizing an uncalibrated butt dyno. Actual
opinions will vary.
