I've been reading this list since Nov and it clinched my decision to
order a Dak, thanks for all the info. Got it on Feb 3 and love it!
Anyone noticed that the 318 has BIGGER valves than the 360, according to
the 98 service manual? 318 i/e head diameters are 1.916/1.624 with .312
diameter stems, 360 i/e are 1.88/1.617 with .372 diameter stems. This
surprised me, could it be a typo? Bigger valves with smaller stems would
help explain why the 318 power is so close to the 360.
