Can't remember if I mentioned before, but I sold my '82 olds
with 230K miles on it, mobil 1 since 10k miles.
Changed oil & filter every 10k miles, and the saveings over 3
mineral oil changes and 3 filters AND 3 trips under the car and to
the oil recycle, more than pay the difference for the $3.50/qt synth.
Plus, only would burn .5 qt /10K miles. Plus old oil still looked
like amber honey when drained, not roof tar. I'm sold on Mobi1 1,
it has a good track record with me.
Now if this DAK's V8 filter was just a bit further from the ex. pipe
it would be kooler to change the oil filter, but it does not drain on
my starter like the olds did!
