WELL, YA KNOW, maybe it was that K&N you installed.

It casued an increased air flow to the engine which in turn caused the
thrugman valve to misalign with its orifice and then the centrifugal bearing
retainer blew, causing the drivetrain's water bearings to break and thus the
whole thing came apart.
