I have a extang soft tonneau cover on the rail system on my 97 cc and yes
it does flap around a bit, but there are times that i want to take
something back from the store, or just take stuff that wouldn't fit under a
hard cover. i personally am too lazy to remove the entire fiberglass cover
on those occasions, that i like the fact that i can just roll up the cover
and it is out of the way. as for the flapping it isn't like it is flying
all over the place, but if you have the back slider open you can hear it
against the cross members. i personally don't regret my choice.
