  According to my '96 FSM, 17 with a "check engine" light means that the engine
did not reach 50 degrees F within 5 minutes of engine operation, and 17 without
a check engine light means that the engine didn't reach operating temperature
within acceptable limits. (It doesn't say what those limits are)
