Hmmm, that's what I was worried about. Well, I have replaced the battery
with a new 900 CCA number, and things appear OK. We shall see what happens.
The truck appears to run and charge just fine, at least the volt meter is
doing the typical things you expect. I will watch for any more codes, and
if that 41 pops up again I'm going straight to the dealer before my warranty
expires in July.
I can understand why a defective battery would cause the 41 code.
