FWIW,

When I use to frequent Compuserve more, Sally Jardine (wife of Jerry) was
always posting a lot. I seem to remember one comment she made about Gibson
was that the muffler Gibson makes now, came from Jardine's design due to an
employee defecting and going to work for Gibson.
