See if you have an Amway dealer around.. I use a product called bug and tar
remover. It takes about one min. to cut off any kind of raised decal that
isn't vinyl. I use the bug and tar remover to get off the rest of the
adhesive... Spray it on let it sit 5 min. then one wipe and its all gone...
This stuff is the shit! BTW it is a lil stronger than the 3M spray and it
is 100% bio. It's citrus based... I even used it to remove the spiled
contact cement my friend dumped on his formika counter tops.... No
kidding... :)

A heat gun works well but you can damange paint with that kind of heat if
your not used to using one plus this way you can strip off the adhesive
from the back of your decal is you want to use it elswhere later on.. I
found that the heat guns can mess up the decals a bit...

This method worked for me the best. Plus the bug and tar remover worked
Great for doing what it was maid for...(Removing Bugs and Road Tar)
