Here are results from a 4 system shoot out in May "Sport Truck"
Magazine:

System HP Torque Sound

Stock 161.9 227.9 very quiet

Borla 171.5 243.9 quiet at idle;low brumble under load

Gibson 170.5 242.4 quiet idle; deep, smooth note under load

Hedman 171.1 243.6 dull throb at idle; steady throaty sound under
load

Jardine 175.4 246.1 low brumbly sound at idle; smooth rumble
under load

Test mule was 97 CK1500, all dual rear exit, except Gibson (single
passenger
side)
Measured on K&N's dyno. Otherwise totally stock Vortec 5.0 V8

Word of advice: Don't obcess on HP gains...you'd never know or feel
the
difference between 171 & 175 HP.
