I had the same problem with my Chebby S-10. Does the problem get
worse when you get on the gas, then better when you cost? If so,
I think it is the driveshaft. Mine was out of round by 1.5 times
the spec. I had it replaced under warrenty with one that was just
in spec. The vibration got much better.
If I had to do it myself I would take it to a driveshaft shop and
they can take off the yokes and weld them straight. In 1987 it
cost about $100.
