Jim,
I got the spare tire lock from Mopar, no problem. It is a McGuard
unit and it is a anap to install. Wind the spare down to get
access to the winch mechanism. Pull out the spring clip and remove
the actuator tube. Replace with the new tube. Place the new tools
in with your spare tire stuff.
Takes 5-10 min and no tools. The new tube can only be rotated with
the new tool. Slick design.
