Well, l knew if l stayed down here long enough it would happen. Coming across
the bridge traffic was at a stand still in the far right lane. I hit my
brakes and came to a halt, unfortunatley, the lady behind me couldn't do it.
Next thing l know l am sitting on top of an older model Honda Accord. After
driving off the top of her hood, we waited til the cops got there. I could
see the front of her car: new hood, new left front 1/4 panel, new right front
1/4 panel, 2 new headlight assemblies, new bumper, new grill, shoved the
radiator back into the fan and steam was pouring out (and that is just what l
could see). Looked like a couple of thousand worth of damage. I couldn't
stand to get out and see what my truck looked like. When the cop gets there
he tells me to drive to the next exit and get off. I asked him if anything
was hanging off my truck (i.e. bumper or spare tire). He just laughed at me.
When we got to the next exit, l got off and got out. I could hardly believe
my eyes, only damage to my truck was the paint was scratched off the trailer
hitch where it went THROUGH her hood. I love this truck more and more
everyday. Guess Consumer Reports was right, "these gas guzzling killers" do
win when there is a wreck.
