I have a '98 Dokota Sport 4x4 equiped with the Heavy Duty Service Group (750 Amp
Maintenance Free Battery, 136 Amp Alternator, etc.) and about 3200 miles. I had brought
my truck in to a dealership near by for an oil change and a week later, I started to have
problems starting up my truck in the mornings or if I let it sit for awhile (about 8 hours or so).
It would start up real sluggish. The thing is, after driving it for awhile and letting it sit for an
hour or so, it would start up just fine. I'm thinking that something is either wrong with my
battery or something must be draining the juice while the truck is parked but there isn't
anything operating any differently than it was before the problem started. Does anyone
know if this is what I should be concentrating on or should I be looking at something else.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
