Hmmm.. Sounds like the same principle as turbo's inntercooler (sp?) This could be

accomplished with alot of work on a dak... You would have to RAM air it somehow though.

If you had lots of time and money you would even get an after market liquid cooled one and then if you culd fit it in front of the radiator you would get signifigant inprovements.

The ones that I have seen that go behind the radiator guarantee that the air going into the engine is somewhere around -60F to -70F.
