with truck brakes it hasn't been unusual to see 50,000-60,000 mi. on a
set of brakes. I had a '77 Ramcharger that went 55,000 on the front pads
and 72,000 on the rear shoes, and I towed a bass boat all over Eastern
U.S, plus daily driving in heavy urban traffic. The truck had 121,000
mi. on it when I traded it in '84 on a W-150.The truck was not babied,
it had a 440 with headers, so you know I got on it now and then.
