I've recently gotten the engine code for "Engine Cold Too Long".
Does this always mean a stuck thermostat, and is there a way to tell if the
thermostat is bad without removing it? Or, should I simply replace it for
good measure?
I get the following codes:
12 - Not listed in '92 FSM (I've heard through the list that this is a
battery disconnected indication??)
17 - Engine Cold Too Long (thermostat)
44 - Not listed in '92 FSM ??????
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
