When you get done adding the 5.9,flares, 9.25 rear end, oversize drivshaft,
wheels, tires, lowered suspension etc,how much then will you be saving?
The r/t in Madison Wi. was discounted $2000.00.Sounds like sour grapes
to me.

Nope, no sour grapes here. Just that I've always resisted the dealers who
scalp because they think they can. They are free to fan the flames and make their
profit, but I'll wait or go elsewhere on those terms. Now $2K off list is sounding
a lot more reasonable, but viewed the other way I call it a markup of $1k to $1.5K
over invoice (and they are still getting several hundred on holdback).

It's all in how much you want it. Since I already got a car that will blow an R/T's
doors off, I don't really need it that bad (but I did need a truck and an R/T would
of been nice if it was configured "my way".

My only point is to shop around and don't believe dealer hype (as you've already
found a place not demanding list demonstrates... you CAN make them back off).
I hope this list is able to locate other dealers around the country for people
who got their order cancelled with a markup inserted.

Deal through knowledge (like this list) not through dealer hype ("be grateful I can
let you have this limited truck for only $500 over list...they're going quick!
hurry, hurry" :-)
