I hate to go to chain stores, but I had Midas do my brakes and thier pads
are garanteed for life. The Dealer is gonna' charge you much more. If you
can find a reputable Midas in your area then go for it. My Dak used to go
through brakes like tissues, but this set has lasted me over a year! I
recommend...

Looking for some data on what kind of mileage anyone is getting out of
their brake pads.

I only have 23,000 on mine and they are into the rotors. I don't tow at
all and the heaviest thing I have ever hauled was a load of about 50
bricks. There was no warning at all until I heard the grinding. :-(
Dealer told me that 20,000 miles is usual for a truck. I think they are
full of it.

Scott.
