It's not like the gauge was ever that accurate anyhow. Mine, I go about 120
miles on the first half tank and about 40 on the second half. I envy those of
you who have the big gas tank. I only have a 12 gallon tank in my Dakota.

The fuel module in the tank will fix it.It will cost
$400-$500
to replace.I say use the trip odmeter and live with it.
