I didn't notice, but did CC publish any "revised" figures for the 5.9L
in the R/T, or are they the "stock" 5.9L numbers (i.e. same as those for
the 5.9L Durango, RAMs and Jeeps). Just curious to see how much CC
thinks the R/T exhaust is worth...
At 191, the R/T would have been showing around a 24% drivetrain loss
(which is high for a 2WD pickup, assuming the factory spec. of 250hp).
The 211 by catlin's rig would equate to around 263 flywheel (using 20%
loss), which would be about right for the mods (SBEC was worth 25, and
FPIK worth 10-15) on a base 225-235HP motor (factory specs for the
5.2L). Sounds like the 5.9L may have needed more break-in, or was just a
dog...
The article said (if I remember correctly) the R/T had 350 or so miles
on it...

Another thing I just thought of is I wonder if this R/T was broken in or
if it was right off the lot? Could make a differance.
