Check the O2 sensor. I had this problem that lasted for quite a while on a GM
product. Dealer poured in some octane booster and changed the EGR valve.
First tank of gas everything seemed great...then put in fresh gas and same
story. The O2 sensor may be just out of spec for a good running engine and
NOT set any codes. My experience and $.02. The Buick recommended a 30 k mile
changeout. My Dakota sez 82.5 k mile...and I'm supposed to get a friendly
reminder light, too...
