I have a 94, 4x4, ext cab with 5.2l v8, auto, all power, 3.25 rear,
cap on the back. I recently drove to FLA from ohio and averaged 17.5
to 18.5mpg cruising at 70-75mph (with plenty of stop and go due to
traffic volume.) Around town I do combined city/highway driving on a
day to day basis and get 16-17. This is using mostly 87 octane. Not
bad compared to the caravan I rid myself of which did 18/22
city/highway resp. (puny 3.0 v-6)
