If you paid $700 bucks for an extrude hone then you paid way too much. I got BOTH my upper plenum and lower intake manifold (Edlebrock Performer 5.0L) extrude honed as a set for $500....also you don't have to use the mega expensive Crower roller rockers. All of the prices I listed assumed that you do the work yourself.
You could also use a jet chip instead of a MP SBEC. They have them for 1998 Dodge Rams & Dakotas. The are about the same price (around $250).
