No one else replied, so I'll give it my .02 cents...
Most everything you have done will increase torque (horsepower production)
in the upper ranges. At 2400 rpm a 318 ci engine (just a guess as to what
you have) is only drawing 185 or so cfm. (318 /2 x 2400/1728 x 0.85=187.7)
Better breathing is not the answer here. Increased displacement is one
avenue, but is probably out of the question. ("There is no substitute for
cubic inches")
The Superchips re program would probably increase timing advance, which
would help a bit but at the expense of requiring premium fuel (which is a
tradeoff you may be willing to live with.) There's only so much that
increasing timing (and fuel for that matter) will do so I have a feeling
that a chip won't get you what you're after.
A three-angle valve job will help.
Variable-duration lifters with an appropriate cam may help if you can stand
the lifter noise. Some people like the solid lifter sound.
Other than that, some type of forced-induction would give you a boost
(pardon the pun) where you want it.
