What are they going to do to the driveshaft?
I *hope* you didn't badger them into spraying some
sort of undercoating on the driveshaft to cover up
the rust. Any crap like that will throw the driveshaft
out of alignment and *then* you'll have something something
to whine about.

I think it was probably fine the way it was.
