Well from what I have heard if you put in too cool of a thermo then the
computer will not think that the engine has reached operating temp. and the
computer will not go into closed loop mode. You could always try it then
check your engine codes. If you dont get any codes about the engine not
reaching operating temp then I guess you will be in the clear.
