It's too bad there isn't some "intermediate level engine"in the new mustangs. Ford should make the SOHC 4.6 standard equip in the base mustangs. (V6 Camaros put out the same hp & torque). The DOHC engine from the Lincoln Mark VIII (285hp) should be standard in the GT's and the 305 hp cobra engine should be an extra cost option in the GT's and they should built a DOHC 5.4L (around 350hp) for the Cobra's!
Ahhh...if only I was in charge at FoMoCo.
