Make sure you are not pointing the exhaust toward the axle. The bearings
will go if the heat of the exhaust blows on it. It is possible that you lost
low end because there is less back pressure when the pipes are shortened.

Well, I did it. I finally removed them darn decals. Looks
much better now. After a wash and wax she was
sparklin' in the sun.
Also ported and polished the TB. I noticed a definite
difference in my off the line acceleration and 3rd gear
pull. No more flat spots. But I did something today that
lost (for some reason) a bunch of my low end grunt.
I had to cut off some of my custom dual exhaust to
put on my Hellwig rean anti-sway bar. (She corners
pretty good now). I lost some of my low end but
gained some more pull in the top end. Not to sure
why this happened. Basically the exhaust is now
dumping before the axle. Any body know why this
happened?
