Man, if I've said this once, I've said it 1000 times, the 3" element
fits!
I have a 14"x3" Edelbrock on mine and it fits. The only thing that rubs
is the new carriage bolt. It in hits the hood pad, but only because I
haven't trimmed it down in length yet. Once I cut the bolt and
re-thread the end of it, it'll be fine.
