Jim Miller says;
Today I went to Lowes and bought two 4" air duct elbows and made an air duct all
the way to the grille opening on my 98. I removed the plastic piece of s--t
from the inlet to the factory airbox and the 4" piece slid right over the
opening pretty tight. Then I joined the 2 elbows together and adjusted them to
make the other end come out through a hole I made in the rubber beside the
radiator. I took pictures of this before and after installation and when I get
the film developed I can scan and send the pics to anyone interested. Then I
painted the assembly flat black and pushed in into the truck. No need for
fasteners of any kind, it cant slip or fall off. I won't know how much good it
does till I can try to find a K&N filter for the stock airbox.
