I have a '98 R/T CC and the three-times with the key doesn't work . I did
however hold the trip-meter in while turning the key on three times and
first the mileage indicator said "CHECK" , then it showed "TRIP 88888888.8"
and then it flashed all these little squiggly lines on the display and then
that was it . I am guessing that when it flashes the squiggly marks that it
is checking for codes and since mine is new , it didn't find any .
