  I'd also be very interested to hear what you did to turn those times
without laughing gas! I'm guessing you've done some decent head & intake
work combined with a good cam?

  I've been keeping my eyes open for ported and/or extrudehoned heads,
but I have yet to find an "inexpensive" option. :-)
