I finally got to run my Dak at Bandimere Speedway wednesday night (test
and tune night). There was also a '98 Dakota Sport regular cab 4x2 with
the 318 v8 and 3.90 gears.

Elevation is about 5600 feet. I ran from 430 pm to 745 pm with a 30
minute break to let the engine cool. truck weight with me and a half
tank of gas was right at 4600 lbs.

The best time that the regular cab dakota ran was 17.189. He told me
that with the 3.90 gears he was outrunning an R/T. This guy is the
manager of a dealership in Longmont. He has a blower for the regular cab
V8 that will go on later. A stock Syclone with just a K&N filter ran a
best time of 14.99 seconds. Remember this is 5600 feet.

Anyway, this will give me some times to work with. I hope to run again
after the headers, then after the Mopar chip. If I can get a Air inlet
system for it, I could run it and see if there is any difference.
